ISLAMABAD18 October — Motorists in the federal capital were given the opportunity to check the measurement of the dispenser installed at any filling stations in the city.
‘The facility is provided under the Islamabad Capital Territory initiative ‘Quantity on Spot Check’ to remove motorists ‘concerns about fewer measures at petrol pumps,’ Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat told APP.
He said the initiative is aimed at building trust between motorists and the management of the filling stations, except that the short measurement is checked by some filling stations.
“The administration will continue to encourage customer-focused programs,” the DC noted.
Initially, he said that Shell filling stations offer the facility to the customers while expanding the scope of the facility to other petrol pumps to maximize the mass.
The teams from ICT weight and measurement departments regularly conducted raids at fuel stations across the city and those found in fewer measurements are sealed on site, he added.
