PTI workers hold protest rally outside Hassan Nawaz’s home

LONDON, October 17 — The political workers, supporters and diaspora of Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by the spokesperson of the Prime Minister of Trade and Investment in the United Kingdom and Europe, Sahibzada Amir Jahangir a protest rally was held against the convicted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif outside Stanhope House in London, the residence that his son Hassan Nawaz was here on Friday afternoon.

The protesters first gathered outside the Avenfield apartments of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and shouted slogans against him.

They then marched through the streets of London to the home of his son Hassan Nawaz to record their protest, anger and anguish.

Roomi Malik, president of PTI UK, and other party workers also largely attended the protest demonstration.

They held the flags of Pakistan and the PTI flags.

The PTI protesters, including the Pakistani community, took part in the protest, handing out posters containing slogans of “Go Nawaz Go”, “Return our stolen public money”, “Pakistan Army Zindabad”, “Nawaz Sharif the most corrupt person” , “Marryum’s dad is a thief”, “Modi ka jo yar hay gadar hay gadar hay” ect.

At the event, they also raised allegations against the Nawaz Sharif family.

The protesters also chanted slogans of Imran Khan Zindabad, PTI Zindabad and Pakistan Army Army Zindabad.

The participants strongly condemned the former prime minister
Nawaz Sharif for exploiting poison against the important national institution of the Pakistani army.

Sahibzada A Jahangir spoke to the media during the event and said they would continue to expose the corruption of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family.

He said Nawaz Sharif was a convicted former prime minister and that he should return to Pakistan to face criminal charges against him.

He added PTI British leaders, workers and Pakistani diaspora
would also continue their protest against Nawaz Sharif to force him to return to Pakistan and tackle the corruption cases against him and return the looted money from Pakistan.
Sahaibzada Jehangir added that they would also file a petition with the United Kingdom (UK) government for the extradition of Nawaz Sharif, as he was what he called the ‘national criminal’, and is hiding in the UK in the pre-tax of his disease.

Meanwhile, a group of PML-N employees also reached the venue and raised slogans in favor of their party leaders.

The local met-police were also present to deal with adverse incidents and to avoid clashes between the participants of two parties at the same place, but the protesters later spread peacefully.
