Opposition working on Pakistan’s enemy agenda: Sarwar

RAWALPINDI, October 17 — Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said on Saturday that the opposition was working on the agenda of the enemies of Pakistan and was addressing the rally in Gujranwala.

Ghulam Sarwar during a news conference condemned the derogatory language against the institutions of Pakistan and said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) wants a clash between the institutions to destabilize the country but their conspiracies will never succeed.

The minister said Nawaz Sharif was a declared offender and declared himself part two of the founder of MQM. He added that the Pakistani army is a guarantee of peace and stability in the country.

He also paid tribute to security personnel for delivering lives to protect the homeland and said that the whole nation stands with the institutions and salutes them.
Opposition parties did not condemn the two incidents in which 20 security personnel were tortured, as both have the same agenda as terrorists who are targeting civilian and law enforcement agencies, while the opposition is using derogatory language, he added.

Opposition has its democratic right to come into contact with the masses, but the facts of corruption and the ruling of the courts against the opposition leadership in this regard cannot be falsified by agitation politics, Sarwar said.

The minister said that the opposition parties were trying to stop the liability process against their bosses, and that they did not want the development and stability in the country.

The minister responded to a question, saying the government would soon overcome inflation and unemployment in the country due to the flawed policies of previous regimes.
“We will take all legal measures to repatriate Nawaz Sharif,” he added.

“We have no plan to privatize the PIA, but will bring about reforms in it,” he said.
